This week, Nike is celebrating the first-ever Georgia vs. Florida rivalry game played in the ATL with the ‘Outkast U’ collection, a limited-edition apparel and on-field line built from André 3000 & Big Boi’s own style. The collection comes from a stellar collaboration between Nike, the University of Georgia and Outkast and Class Trip.
What’s in the Outkast U collection?
This nostalgic collection includes a full suite of apparel created through the lens of André 3000 and Big Boi, drawn directly from the artists’ personal style.
The range includes:
- a varsity jacket
- football jerseys
- rugby shirts
- a satin bomber
- heavyweight fleece hoodie
- Max90 graphic T-shirts
- headwear
And more! The collaboration further comes to life through performance equipment and premium sideline apparel created exclusively for Georgia athletes, coaches and staff for their game against Florida.
Jon Tietz, Creative Director, Class Trip, said in a statement,
We wanted to create something as timeless as their music. Think of the ‘Roses’ video. André and Big Boi, two crews, two completely different styles, same school. The yin and the yang. Every piece had to feel like it walked right out of that hallway.
When can I get my Outkast U apparel?
The Outkast U collection officially launches tomorrow, October 27th across SNKRS, Class Trip and select Nike retail partners in Atlanta.
The full collection launches October 28 at nike.com and select retail locations, with a game-day pop-up at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on October 31st, at the Georgia vs. Florida rivalry game.
