Peach season is officially in full swing! Now you can go and pick your own peaches at farms across Georgia — and they don’t call us the Peach State for nothing. We’ve decided to round up our favorite peach-picking farms in Atlanta for y’all to get your hands on the ripest and tastiest peaches available!
Although the weather is playing games with our farmers this year, the peach season typically starts mid-late May and ends around September. We recommend heading to one of these spots when the peaches are at their best. But before you go, check their website for special days, events over the summer and, of course, for when they’re open.
Not only can you pick the fleshy stone fruits to your heart’s content at these wonderful peach-picking farms in Atlanta, but you can also purchase jams, jellies, juices and more delicious products made from peachy goodness. So, next time you’re planning on having a peach-themed breakfast, you’ll have all the stuff you need. Here are five awesome places to go peach picking in and around ATL.

It’s likely to get busy here, so go early! If not, make sure you check there’s peaches available before leaving! As well as picking your peaches, we recommend picking up a jar of their tasty spiced version of the Georgia staple. Enjoy some family fun down on the farm and take a look at the barnyard animals and cornfield maze while you’re there.
