From fresh produce to artisanal goods, Ponce City Market’s Farmers Market is back on March 30!
Community Farmers Markets and Ponce City Market welcome a new season of Ponce City Farmers Market! Replenish your kitchen with the freshest fruit and vegetables, artisanal perfection, and so much more, at the only farmers market in Georgia primarily attended by pedestrians and cyclists.
Now located in the third floor Trestle, connecting Ponce City Market to the BeltLine, the market is open seasonally from late March until October, every Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
The market boasts some of Atlanta’s finest local food talent, including urban farmers, artisanal food makers, and pop-up chefs. The market is a producer-only market, meaning that vendors sell only products that they grow or produce themselves.
Expect organic goodness, nutritious food, and even some special quirks that make this Farmers Market so beloved. There’s live music, unique crafts to purchase like candles and jewelry. Plus, it will offer monthly yoga sessions by Stephanie Germann.
Back this year for the first time in several years is a five-week CSA program from Cosmos Organic Farm. Participants will be able to enjoy the convenience of a pre-packaged box available for pickup at the farmers market. Each box will include seven or eight vegetables selected by the farmer. Signups are being accepted here.
The market encourages shoppers to access the market by walking or biking on the BeltLine. However, parking will be available on the third floor of Ponce City Market’s parking deck. Every week, the first shoppers who approach the info booth will receive $5 to shop for local fruit and vegetables at the market (just mention the Market Champion program).
You can find Ponce City Farmers Market at Ponce City Market at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.
