The Georgia Safari Conservation Park

This pretty, tiny town is full of small-town charm, but it’s got one super unique draw that nowhere else in the state has: the Georgia Safari Conservation Park. One of Time’s 100 ‘World’s Greatest Places’, the GA Safari Conservation Park will make you feel like you’ve stepped out of Georgia and into a real African savannah.
The park has over 40 wild and exotic species, including rhinos, addax, bison, impala, and many, many more. These animals roam and graze freely on a massive plot of 530 acres of grasslands. Due to a variety of reasons, these animals cannot be released back into the wild or moved to other facilities, so the park gives them sanctuary and a second shot at life.
