Star Studded Line-Up Announced For Pullman Pops’ Hollywood Extravaganza

Don’t miss this sensational tribute to iconic Hollywood movie scores

Pullman Pops is the brand new concert series taking place at the historic Pullman Yards. Following their delightful concert taking on Broadway classics, their next concert goes from East Coast to West Coast. The 45-piece-orchestra will be taking on some of the best music from Hollywood blockbusters, and joining them is a stellar mix of vocalists that’ll take you on a musical journey through Hollywood history. 

Jodi Benson will be making an appearance at the concert. She has received worldwide recognition as the beloved, original voice of Ariel in the Academy Award winning Disney film The Little Mermaid. Benson is a recipient of The Disney Legends Award having served the company for over 27 years. She’s also been nominated for the Tony Award and Helen Hayes Award for Best Actress in a Musical. So you know you’re in good hands, Atlanta!

Conducting the affair will be three time Tony nominee, Larry Blank, as he and The Pullman Pops take you on a thrilling ride through the magic of movies! Hear legendary compositions from movies such as Jaws, E.T., Harry Potter, Star Wars, and more, including an unforgettable tribute to James Bond.

Also joining Benson and Blank will be Capathia Jenkins and Matthew Johnson. Capithia Jenkins is a Brooklyn-born and raised singer/actor who has impressive credentials in Broadway, music, and beyond! An active concert artist, Ms. Jenkins has appeared with numerous orchestras around the world, and can now add Pullman Pops to that list!

The multi-talented Matthew Johnson is an actor, singer, dancer and musician who has performed with the likes of Pharrell, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Childish Gambino and Stevie Wonder!

The outdoor concert will be taking place at The Pullman Art Center’s Amphitheater. Staged on the transfer table at Pullman Yards, it’s one of the most unique stage settings in the country.
