It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! And what better way to bring back the magic of the holidays than by reminiscing on beloved childhood memories?
If you grew up with classic Christmas specials on TV, like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you’re in for an absolute treat!
This holiday season, the Center for Puppetry Arts has a special festive exhibit that will get you into the holiday spirit! This year, guests of the museum can expect to relive the magic of childhood with puppets from The Ed Sullivan Show’s Jim Henson Company Reindeer and the 1964 Rankin/Bass holiday TV special classic, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
There’s nothing quite like reliving the magical experience of the holidays as a child!
And, there’s more than just puppets!
While you’re there, learn tons of holiday facts–like, did you know Rudolph was first told as a Christmas story in the 1930s? And first it was a storybook?
And after you see the classic puppets, don’t miss out on a staged version of the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer stop motion special! You’ll watch all the beloved characters: Hermey the Elf™, Yukon Cornelius™, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster™, and of course, narrator Sam the Snowman™, find their place on a journey of self-discovery through the island of misfit toys and beyond!
You’ll have the classic songs stuck in your head for days, and the heart-warming story in your heart forever!
Make your own Rudolph!
Oh, and don’t forget that with your tickets, you’ll be able to make your very own Rudolph shadow puppet in the one-of-a-kind Create-A-Puppet™ Workshop!
Don’t miss out on this festive celebration! It’s your chance to get nostalgic and make brand new memories too! And it’s so much fun for the whole family!
