A new study by the American Customer Satisfaction Index reported some shocking new data earlier this week. Hold onto your chicken sandwich, because… according to the report, Chick-fil-A is no longer the #1 quick service restaurant in the U.S. A new sandwich shop has taken the throne.
What quick service restaurant replaced Chick-fil-A as #1?
Jersey Mike’s is the #1 top rated quick service restaurant in the U.S., now. Jersey Mike’s is recognized by the report for its freshness, food variety, and value.
According to the index,
The chain, which added 238 net new locations in 2025 and reached $4.2 billion in systemwide sales, has maintained quality while scaling rapidly.
How do other restaurants compare?
If you’re worried about Chick-fil-A’s ranking, don’t sweat it. With an ACSI score of 83 (out of 100), it is still “the clear leader in the chicken category.” Phew!
And in comparison, Jersey Mike’s only scored one point above Chick-fil-A, with an ACSI score of 84.
The top rated full-service restaurants are LongHorn Steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse, which both tie ACSI score of 82.
