Atlanta Botanical Garden’s fall schedule includes scarecrows created by locals!
Scarecrows in the Garden is Atlanta Botanical Garden’s annual exhibit, bringing local art to the enchanting garden. Dozens of creations by local artists, crafters, youth groups, and more will be nestled throughout and around the garden.
Every fall, Atlanta Botanical Garden hosts a spectacular line-up of events and things to do, and this year isn’t any different! Scarecrows in the Garden is just one aspect of their fall schedule. However, you can currently register to be a part of it, and create your very own scarecrow.
You can apply as an amateur, which includes families, schools, service organizations and individuals. Or you can apply as an artist/creative professional or business. For more information on applying, click here.
Other highlights on the fall line-up includes their Great Pumpkin-Carving Contest on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m, as well as Fest-of-Ale, which is a beer fest taking over the gardens throughout October. Fest-of-Ale will is 5-9pm every night Tuesday to Sunday.
