Next month, Smith’s Olde Bar is going to be serving up some Korean dishes in a collaborative pop-up!
Seoul Chikin will take over Smith’s Olde Bar every Friday starting May 14. Famous for their tasty Seoul street food, Seoul Chickin host several pop-up events across Atlanta regularly.
For their collaboration at Smith’s, they’ll be serving up some Korean Fried Chicken, along with some awesome bar bites to enjoy at the music venue/pub.
Seoul Chikin was founded by Stephanie Watson eight years ago in Washington, D.C. Now the tasty pop-up calls Atlanta home, after a revival in 2019 right here in the Peach State.
Alongside Korean fried chicken on the menu for Smith’s Olde Bar, there will also be beef, pork, and tofu mandu (dumplings) and other delicious street foods like the spiral fried potato on a stick, and rabokki — a spicy rice cake and ramen noodle combination.
Seoul Chikin are also planning two other pop-ups soon. Firstly, a plant-based Latin and Korean fusion collaboration on May 3, and secondly a Korean x Taiwanese Street Food pop-up at Eventide Brewing on the eigth. For all pop-up events and more information, keep up with the listings their website.
