According to a new report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ABC’s beloved reality competition show, ‘Shark Tank’ is moving from L.A. to Atlanta to film their 18th season. Why is ‘Shark Tank’ leaving L.A.?

The biggest reason is probably due to California’s tax credit system, which favors “scripted shows and recently added incentives for animated series and higher-budget competition shows,” but not traditional game shows like ‘Shark Tank.’
When will ‘Shark Tank’ begin filming in Atlanta?
The AJC reports that filming for season 18 will begin at Tyler Perry Studios in June of 2026, according “to a source connected to the series who wasn’t officially authorized to provide the information.”
