We’ve got great news for all pet parents out there! There’s a brand new, extremely cool dog part/social club coming to Atlanta, and you don’t want to miss out! Skiptown, a pet-focused concept combines all the things our pets need to thrive: a nice dog park, daycare, boarding, grooming, dog training, and more–with everything pet parents want: a social club and restaurant, complete with cocktails, wine, local beers, a coffee bar, and food!
Skiptown Founder and CEO, Meggie Williams is so excited to bring the Charlotte-born dog park to Atlanta. She says,
We always knew that we wanted to open a Skiptown in Atlanta… We love the city, and we really felt like Skiptown would resonate with the community here. Our team visited a lot, and we put a great deal of effort into getting the location right. When we came across Kirkwood, we immediately fell in love with the neighborhood. We toured over 60 sites, and this location instantly drew us in. It’s an amazing, vibrant, diverse little pocket of such an incredible city, and we’re excited to become a part of it.
Why is Skiptown different than other dog parks?
Skiptown is the perfect marriage of the needs of the pet owners and the pets themselves. After all, why cater to just one, when both can be happy? Meggie Williams says that she created Skiptown as a solution for pet parents who spend a lot of time working and for those who live in smaller spaces like apartments or townhomes.
This gives the pet parents a perfect place to enjoy time with friends and social outings, but without having to leave their furry babies home alone!
