Atlanta is a city of thriving arts. As the cultural hub of the Southeast, we host our fair share of events from all over the world. From live music concerts to sporting events and beyond, Atlanta needs a great venue to match all these amazing events. And luckily, we do! State Farm Arena just took home the honor of being one of Billboard’s The Year In Touring 2025 Report’s top 5 live entertainment venues in the country and top 10 in the world (#7). Wait hold up… what?
Billboard, the world’s premier music publication which has served the entertainment business since 1894, published their annual year-end rankings earlier this month. And State Farm Arena ranked super high on the list, both at home in the U.S. and globally.
State Farm Arena’s Executive Vice President of Arena Programming, Trey Feazell, said in a statement,
It is an incredible accomplishment for us to be recognized among the best in Billboard’s end-of-year rankings. Through long hours, creative thinking, strong partnerships with artists, managers, agents and promoters, and an unwavering focus on delivering unforgettable experiences for fans and artists alike, we are proud to make our Arena a global destination for the biggest acts and the biggest moments.
Why did State Farm Arena rank so well?
State Farm Arena is a state of the art venue, just a few steps away from some of Atlanta’s finest attractions. By looking at all of the ‘Top Venues’ in the world (AKA venues with 15,001 or more capacity and excluding stadiums) Billboard’s The Year In Touring 2025 Report compiled all the best venues for live performances.
Home of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, State Farm Arena has a capacity of 16,888 for basketball games, and 15,590+ for concerts. In fact, according to the report, only one NBA venue ranked ahead of State Farm Arena in total number of events, which was Madison Square Garden.
Per Billboard, State Farm Arena hosted 94 ticketed non-Hawks events this past year. Since November of last year, the venue hosted multi-night shows for incredible artists & comedians like:

- Dua Lipa
- Pearl Jam
- Usher
- Nate Bargatz
- Katt Williams
- Lil Baby
- Lil Wayne
- Rauw Alejandro
- Shakira
- Tate McRae
And State Farm Arena was the setting for UFC Fight Night, a couple of WWE pay-per-view events, multiple college basketball games and a sold-out WNBA game.
