When is Super Bowl LXII?
Super Bowl LXII will officially happen on Sunday, February 13th, 2028 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This official date was confirmed by the NFL this past weekend.
This will be the fourth time the city has hosted the Super Bowl, following:
- Jan. 30, 1994: Dallas Cowboys vs Buffalo Bills
- Jan. 30, 2000: St. Louis Rams vs Tennessee Titans
- Feb. 3, 2019: New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Rams
And now, we’ll add 2028 to our list!
When the NFL originally announced in October of 2024 that Atlanta would host Super Bowl LXII, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement,
Renowned for its hospitality and rich sports and entertainment culture, Atlanta is a world-class event destination and a natural fit for Super Bowl 62. Arthur Blank has been a transformative figure in the Atlanta community, playing a crucial role in leading the bid to bring the Super Bowl back to the city. When & where is the next Super Bowl?
The 2027 Super Bowl will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on February 14th, 2027.
SoFi Stadium was another of the host stadiums for the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer, along with several other American stadiums.
