Where: Piedmont Park
Let’s kick things off with probably the most iconic swimming pool in Atlanta, and that’s Piedmont Park’s aquatics center! With a whole lot of history and an awesome pool, take your book, grab some friends, and spend the day cooling off at this Piedmont Park summer gem. Admission costs $5. Where: The Interlock
Take a leave of absence at this swanky new rooftop “beach club” and resort. From private cabanas to a tempting crafty cocktail menu, plus so much more, if you’re searching for the ultimate summer treat, the Rooftop L.O.A. is the spot for you this season. For more information, click here.
3. Garden Hills Pool
Garden Hills Pools is definitely one of the prettiest public pools on offer in Atlanta. Although their season passes have sold out for the summer, you can still visit for gorgeous landscaping, and the ultimate urban oasis. General Admission costs around $5.
Where: Grant Park
One of the many free public swimming pools that Atlantans can use throughout the summer, making the Grant Park pool perfect if you’re on a budget. For more information on the free swimming pools provided by the City of Atlanta, click here.
5. Ebster Pool
There’s a great selection of public pools on offer in Decatur, but Ebster Pool takes the cake. The family-friendly pool is one of the best ways to cool off in the beloved district during the summer months. Admission is $6 for non-residents, and there are season passes available.
6. Candler Park Pool
Where: Candler Park
Right by the Candler Park golf course is there iconic swimming pool. This is another addition on The City of Atlanta’s free swimming pools all over the city throughout the summer. You can swim for free from 12:30pm until 7pm daily. Click here for the full list.
