What can you expect at the Titanic VR exhibition in Atlanta?

Titanic: Echoes From The Past takes you on an exciting VR adventure on the RMS Titanic from that memorable starry night, taking visitors from the ship’s final hours above the ocean to its resting place nearly 12,500 feet below the surface. The experience recreates key moments from the famed voyage, including the luxurious scenes like the staircase to the collision with the iceberg and the events that followed.
The journey serves as a tribute to the passengers and crew of 1912. The final sequence focuses on the ship’s departure from Southampton, highlighting the human stories behind the historic event and leaving visitors with a lasting impression of the lives that were on board.
To give guests a more personal view, you’ll be guided by the perspective of filmmaker William Harbeck, who was hired by the White Star Line to document Titanic’s voyage from Europe to America. The experience also offers a detailed view of the wreck as it exists today. It gives you an inside look at history with modern technology where you can get an up-close look.
Titanic: Echoes From The Past Reviews

The experience has enjoyed 5-star reviews from other cities around the world. Here’s what people are saying:
“What an experience! Having never used a VR headset before, I was amazed at how realistic everything was. I found myself walking around things or dodging people, even though they weren’t there. We all know the sad story of the Titanic, but in this experience, you are living it, meeting people who had travelled on its fateful journey, are there at its beginning and at its end. When I walked among the personal debris, it was incredibly moving.”
“Went on a weekday, and really really enjoyed it. As a titanic enthusiast, I loved the aspect of getting to walk around certain parts of the boat and seeing what it would have looked like. For a VR experience, I enjoyed that it was quite interactive and not just standing in one spot looking around, you literally can walk around and turn a corner and see something new.”
“Amazing immersive experience. Being transported into the engine room and onto the sea bed. Great storytelling too. I loved it! Great seeing the characters next to you, felt like I was there.”
