If you want to spark some wonder into your life, then we don’t think there’s a better place to do so than the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The knock-out Piedmont Park attraction is forever collaborating with the best artists, combining incredible art with their phenomenal botanical displays.
Their freshest offering entitled Trolls: Save the Humans by Thomas Dambo (picture source) features magical troll sculptures that are absolutely enormous, and inspired by ancient folklore, as well as the natural world. The striking pieces are the perfect match for the Atlanta Botanical Garden, who’ve become renowned for these unmissable exhibitions.
What’s extra special about this enchanting exhibit is that Dambo has become renowned for these sculptures, not only creating an impressive collection on display across the globe, but he’s also one of the world’s leading recycle artists.
His diverse background in the arts has led him to this fascinating display, which Atlantans can now get up-close-and-personal with. From street art to beatbox, his love for sculpture came from his music career, wanting to curate exciting stages and displays to perform with.
This all-new exhibit features giant trolls – ranging from 16 to 50 feet tall, making it the perfect exploration trail of the gorgeous grounds.
Dambo tells an evolved story of listening and tending to nature, with these whimsical creatures interacting with the already dynamic displays at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The opening for exciting exhibition coincided with their annual Orchid Daze exhibition. As one of the largest orchid displays in the world, the garden annually collaborates with artists to coincide with their blooming beautiful displays. Click here for more information on Orchid Daze.
You can see Trolls: Save the Humans on display at the Atlanta Botanical Garden until September 17, 2023. Make sure to visit their website for more information and tickets.
