Set in one of Atlanta’s favorite artsy neighborhoods, Virginia-Highland, Summerfest is the perfect way to kick your summer off right! At Summerfest, you’ll get to celebrate 39 years of community, art, food, entertainment, and of course, the start of summer!
Not only is Summerfest an annual celebration of art, music, and Atlanta, but it’s a fundraiser for the Virginia-Highland Civic Association. The Virginia-Highland Civic Association is a non-profit organization committed to maintaining and improving the historic Virginia-Highland neighborhood. So not only will you be celebrating the return of summer, but supporting the community as well!
What to expect at Summerfest
This year’s festival will have both an Artist Market and Makers’ Market, boasting artwork from some of the best artists in the southeast and beyond. Summerfest is expecting over 200 fine art booths, so you’ll have tons of amazing art to choose from!
You’ll also be able to listen to live music all day long, with an unmissable line-up of artists and musicians gearing up for this Virginia-Highland celebration. Past acts have included Sister Hazel, Tonic, Drivin’ N Cryin’, Jason Isbell, Marc Broussard, BoDeans, Pat McGee Band, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk and many others!
