London’s favorite Asian-inspired restaurant chain is coming to West Midtown!
Wagamama is coming to the newly-built Star Metals District in West Midtown. The popular Asian-inspired restaurant from the UK serves beautifully fused food, with dishes inspired by recipes from Japan, China, and Korea.
The restaurant chain opened their first store in London, back in 1992. Since then, they have expanded to over 200 locations in 27 countries. Finally, the time has come for Atlanta!
Known for their ramen, katsu curry, and other “bowl to soul” dishes, we’ll be in excellent hands. We’ve also heard that their crafty cocktails are not to be missed!
“Wagamama is ideally suited for the Atlanta market,” Richard Flaherty, the co-CEO of the US Wagamama franchise, said in a recent statement. “Our pan-Asian cuisine is fresh, flavorful and appealing to a broad audience. And our service approach delivers an engaged, social atmosphere. Together, our food and approach deliver a high-quality, high energy, differentiated experience to the modern consumer.”
“We are excited about bringing Wagamama to the Star Metals District,” W. Allen Morris, Chairman and CEO of The Allen Morris Company, said in a prepared statement. “Elevated ramen concepts have a presence in urban cities, and it was our intention to bring this popular cuisine to the Atlanta market.”
Wagamama has no opening date as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted. You’ll be able to find Atlanta’s freshest ramen safe haven at 1050 Howell Mill Rd, 30318.
