It’s time for spooky season, and we’re excited for all the fun, wacky and hair-raising fun headed to the ATL. From fun haunted houses to cool Halloween parades–there are so many fun and spooky things to enjoy, and this year, Atlantans can get excited for Where the Weird Things Are: an upside down parade!
What can guests expect at the Where the Weird Things Are: an upside down parade?

Where the Weird Things Are, hosted by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, is a great place to check out tons of beautiful and creepy ‘Weird Things’ or massive puppets. You can even make your own Weird Thing and join in on the fun!
Guests will also get to enjoy live music from Atlanta’s Black Sheep Ensemble. A full itinerary of the night’s festivities will be announced closer to the date, and we’ll update ya then!
Wait. Upside down parade?

Let’s start with what that means. What is an ‘upside down’ parade?
Unlike a typical parade, this “upside down parade” will be stationary. That means the giant spooky puppets and ‘Weird things’ that you can check out will stay in one place, and festival goers can wander around at their own pace to see them!
Okay, okay! I’m in! Give me the details.

When: Saturday, October 04, 2025 from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Where: Historic Fourth Ward Park amphitheater | 680 Dallas Street Northeast
