What does the WWE Atlanta massive weekend takeover entail?
It’s simple, really: expect 2 days of the wildest wrestling events in WWE history!
First, on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, fans can expect The Great American Bash, a truly iconic wrestling event held every summer! This event will take place at Center Stage Theater – formerly the home of WCW Saturday Night.
AND for the main event, State Farm Arena will host the NBC primetime special Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 and Evolution – the groundbreaking all-women’s Premium Live Event which originally debuted in 2018 – on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.
What is Atlanta’s history with WWE?
The city of Atlanta has a storied WWE history that spans decades, having hosted:
- WrestleMania® XXVII (2011)
- Survivor Series® (2015)
- Royal Rumble® (2002, 2010)
- Day 1® (2022)
- Bad Blood® (2024).
What if I can’t make it in person to the event?
Don’t sweat it! Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live coast-to-coast on NBC at 8pm ET/5pm PT on Saturday, July 12, and simulcast on Peacock.
