Atlanta Black Pride is about to make its fabulous return, and kick things off for an epic celebration filled with unmissable things to do. Including (but not limited to) a free music festival and a whole lot of partying! The festival and jam-packed weekend is one of the largest Black LGBTQ+ events in the United States, with over 140,000 expected attendees annually.
The self-proclaimed “greatest Pride on Earth”, Atlanta Black Pride Weekend promises an unmissable festival, celebrity hosts and performers, parties, comedy, brunches, and more. The music festival entitled Pure Heat Community Festival will transform Piedmont Park into a loud and proud extravaganza of music and live performance. Artists that’ve previously made an appearance include Lil’ Kim, Cardi B, and more. This year the festival will be honoring RHOA superstar Kandi Burruss and other icons to the community, as well as an unmissable music line-up.
Pure Heat Community Festival will be taking place on Sunday 4th of September. However, Atlanta Black Pride Weekend takes place throughout Labor Day weekend, starting on August 31 and concluding on September 6.
Even though the music festival is free, there will be so many parties and events taking over the city throughout the week and weekend. Ticket passes granting you access to these exclusive parties are available for purchase with several pricing points available. For more information, click here to visit their website.
