The Atlanta Regional Commission has partnered with the City of Atlanta and Propel ATL to launch a new era of e-bikes in the ATL… and you could apply for the rebate program to get yours! Keep scrolling for all the details.

Similar to last year’s E-Bike Rebate Program, the City of Atlanta, along with ATL Regional Commission and Propel ATL are offering an E-Bike Rebate Program to provide affordable, reliable transportation for city residents, especially moderate and low-income individuals.
The ARC states on their website,
This initiative aims to break down barriers to e-bike ownership, reduce transportation costs, and replace solo car trips to work, the grocery store, and local parks and recreation centers.
When do applications open?
City of Atlanta residents must submit an online application to be eligible to be selected to receive an e-bike rebate. Applications MUST be submitted between Tuesday, September 8, 2026 and Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
How do I apply for the e-bike rebate program?
You will be able to apply for an e-bike rebate on the Atlanta Regional Commission’s website, here, beginning September 8th.
After you submit your application, the applicants will be selected through a randomized lottery selection process, verified to receive a rebate, and then issued a a rebate code.
From there, recipients will have 60 calendar days to redeem their e-bike rebate at a participating City of Atlanta e-bike retailer, which can be found on their website!
NOTE: Submitting an application does NOT guarantee that you will receive a rebate. There will probably be more applicants than available rebates.
Can anyone apply?
No, this program is only available to city of Atlanta residents.
To be eligible for an e-bike rebate, you must be a City of Atlanta resident, be at least 18 years old, and earn a 2025 household income within the household income thresholds listed on the ARC’s website, here.
