The Atlanta History Center will host an insightful weekend of activities for MLK Day!
There’s so much to do to commemorate Martin Luther King in his hometown on MLK Day! One of the many fantastic offerings includes The Atlanta History Center’s weekend celebration. From Sunday, Jan 16 to Monday, Jan 17, there will be a variety of virtual and in-person educational activities, including simulations, crafts, and story time, as well as offerings for adults including author talks.
Atlanta History Center is an all-inclusive, 33 acre destination. Their campus features on of the nation’s largest history museums, including the Cyclorama: The Big Picture experience; three historic houses; Goizueta Gardens; and the Kenan Research Center.
Tickets to Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2022 are free, but required. You can select a desired time slot for either Sunday, January 16 or Monday, January 17. Tickets must be redeemed within 15 minutes of the selected time slot on the day of the event. Click here to reserve your free spot.
