Atlanta Pride Run’s In-Person Return Takes Place In Piedmont Park This Weekend

Run with Pride at Atlanta Pride Run!

The Atlanta Pride Run is finally returning for an in-person run at the beautiful Piedmont Park on June 20, 2021! The run has been a tradition for over 30 years, an has been used to generate awareness for the LGBTQ+ community in the greater Atlanta area.

COVID-19 took a harder toll on the LGBTQ+ community so their message and mission has never been more important. Luckily, the run fundraises for much-needed community partners and is finally returning for their first run post-pandemic.

This year, they’ve announced that Joining Hearts Atlanta are one of their beneficiaries. Since 1987, Joining Hearts has worked to raise awareness and funds to support prevention, care, and housing assistance to those impacted by HIV/AIDS in Atlanta.

You’re encouraged to walk, jog or sprint the 5km course around Piedmont Park. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for your spot in the race, and if you do well, there’s even chances to win awards!

If you sign up before June 13, 2021, then you’re guaranteed a great shirt as part of your run pack. T-shirts are subject to availability following the cut off date. But you’re welcome to register on the day! There is a fee depending on when you decide to register.
