New LGBTQ+ Venue ‘Future’ Opens With Drag, Cabaret, Fabulousness And More!

Future Showbar and Restaurant is ATL’s newest 14,000-square-foot cabaret and dance club.

Underground Atlanta, which is currently undergoing a major transformation, is now home to Future Showbar and Restaurant! The LGBTQ+ venue have weekly programming and events including drag and cabaret specials.

There’s even going to be food on offer, with the Downtown venue open for lunch and dinner, alongside the guaranteed fabulousness.

On Fridays and Saturdays, it’s the newest and hottest ticket in town! Fantasy Girls Cabaret is a new drag and dine experience you won’t forget. Featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Trinity K. Bonet, Phoenix, and Lala Ri. The RuGirls will be joined by Atlantan legends Taejah ZT Aga, Raquel Rea Heart, Destiny Brooks, Shawnna Brooks, Extasy Grey, and Cici Nicole!

The Friday cabaret will offer 2 dinner seating’s, 6:30pm and 9pm. With shows beginning at 7pm and 9:30pm! Saturday offers 2 dinner seating’s 6pm and 8:30pm. Shows begin at 6:30 and 9pm. Also, on Saturdays if you’re needing a break from dancing the night away or just want some late night entertainment,  they have a midnight show on offer.

Neighbors: Underground Atlanta Will Be Getting A Brand New, 21-Stall Food Hall

A 10-year lease has been secured for Future at 180 Lower Alabama Street, and it opened on June 4, 2021. The opening came after a major delay due to the pandemic, but it’s finally time to get dolled up! The large, two-story space will be have and a huge dancefloor, ready for Atlanta to dance the night away.
