One of Atlanta’s most influential rappers is giving back to the community. Future may be known for some of the hottest hits of our generation, but he also makes a point to give back to the community he came from. His latest community outreach is a STEM lab for marginalized Atlanta students.
This lab will be used as a resource and opportunity for students wanting to pursue careers in STEM. The hope is that this will help lessen the gap in tech and science among marginalized students and minorities. Futures Foundation, Freewishes Foundation, partnered with 2K Foundations to make this dream a reality.
In keeping with his roots, the STEM lab will open the lab at Bessie Branham Park in Kirkwood close to where he grew up. In addition to the traditional curriculum at a STEM school, they will also be including the arts to help promote creativity.
