Who doesn’t love a good local farmer’s market?
We’ve all fallen victim to the last minute google search of “where to go for a farmer’s market” after Sunday morning brunch, and come up with nothing.
The solution is here–every single Sunday ALL YEAR, the Avondale Estates Farmer’s market is open and ready to bring you local artisan goods and produce.
What started in 2013 as a tiny local farmer’s market has slowly grown into a community favorite in Decatur. In 2015 the Avondale Estates Farmer’s market got a permanent home in the parking lot of My Parents’ Basement, and it’s been going strong ever since! The Avondale Estates Farmer’s Market is actually one of the only year-round markets in the entire state of Georgia, and it’s right here in our backyard!
Now market-goers can expect 40+ local vendors every single Sunday. There’s everything from local produce and food products to jewelry to other handcrafted art!
The Avondale Estates Farmer’s Market allows local, small-scale producers, farmers and artists to sell directly to the people of Decatur and Avondale (and all of our lovely visitors!), without a middle man!
It’s what’s best for the community: vendors and shoppers alike!
