What You Need To Know About The Battery Atlanta’s Tree Lighting Ceremony

You’re invited to an epic tree lighting ceremony at The Battery Atlanta!

The Battery Atlanta is all set for the fifth annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 27. The mixed-used entertainment district, and beloved home to Truist Park, will get a magical transformation for the holidays!

The ceremony promises to be an evening filled with family-fun and holiday magic, from 5:30 until 7 p.m. To kick off the festivities, there will be a performance from The Block Party on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage! Followed by a special appearance from Mark Owens and Blooper, on behalf of the Atlanta Braves.

The dynamic baseball duo will help track down Santa as he gets closer to lighting the tree at approximately 7 p.m. Guests are then encouraged to stay and enjoy a screening of the 2019 holiday blockbuster ‘Abominable’. The outdoor screening will certainly get you into the spirit of the season, and is part of the Xfinity Fall Movie Series on the Georgia Power Pavilion screen.

Holidays at the Battery kicks off with this enchanting tree lighting ceremony on November 27 at 5pm. Other festive offerings include Santa’s Post Office, presented by Truist.

Up until Christmas Eve, Santa will continue the time-honored tradition of greeting local children. Santa will set up shop every Friday through Sunday in the Community Corner located at the corner of Power Alley and Battery Avenue.

Families are invited to bring their handwritten letters to Santa – postage not required – in person at his official Atlanta outpost.  Santa’s helpers will take care of the rest!

You can find The Battery Atlanta at 800 Battery Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30339. Visit their website, here.
