TripAdvisor just announced their Traveler’s Choice Awards, and a Georgia beach secured the number 8 spot for the Best of the best Beaches’ award!
Which Georgia beach is a U.S. top 10?
You might already be thinking: is it Tybee? Savannah? Nope and nope! The 8th best beach in the country is Driftwood Beach, in Jekyll Island! And it’s not a surprising win, either. With its beautiful, sculpture-esque driftwood trees littering a sandy beach, Driftwood Beach feels like a magical place out of a storybook.
If you’ve never traveled down to Jekyll Island, you might not know of its majesty! You definitely want to check it out sometime this spring or summer! With a rich history and beautiful beaches galore, Jekyll Island is 100% worth the four and a half hour drive from Atlanta.
