Atlanta is definitely home to a slew of burger joints, but it might come as a surprise that the best voted burger in town is actually served out of a gas station. NFA Burgers, formerly a pop-up, garnered so much popularity, that a demand for a more permanent spot became a MUST. Dunwoody resident Billy Kramer has spent the last few years perfecting his burger recipe and it has finally paid off.
NFA Burger, which stands for “Not Fooling Around” is Kramers passion project turned business. Kramer’s burger is described as a classic, smashed, double-stack cheeseburger with house-made seasoning, sauce, pickles and mustard on a potato roll. While this may sound like your everyday burger, the one thing others don’t have is Kramers seasoning secret. Kramer’s burgers have slowly but surely been making their way uo the popularity poll for the past few years. His burger was voted 13th best burger at the 2019 World Food Championships in Dallas, TX.
Kramer originally used to be the judge at best burger contests, before getting involved himself. Once enough people had asked him what makes a great burger, he went on a journey of his own to make what he called the perfect burger and it eventually payed off! Kramer happily calls Dunwoody Village the home for his brick and mortar store and is content in just having this one location for now. Atlantans don’t have to go to far OTP to get a taste of these fantastic burgers.
