Our favorite holiday tradition is back and in full fruition, here in the ATL! Holiday pop-up bars have returned, and they’re the perfect way to get into the spirit of the festive season. Enjoy specialty cocktails in your own heated igloo, or under crazy lighting displays at one of these incredible bars in the city. Here are our favorite holiday bars that’ve popped up in Atlanta for the holidays.
Wonderland at Willow is an all-new holiday pop-up bar in Buckhead. The enchanting garden bar has completely transformed into an absolute dreamland, with cozy igloos, gorgeous decorations and festive specials for the holidays. Each igloo is decked out with lounge seating, knit blankets, and you can even spin your own soundtrack with your own custom record player.

Ready to paint the town green, Atlanta? Tiki Tango’s beloved holiday pop-up bar is back! This year, the quirky and kitschy space will help your small heart grow three sizes, using the Christmas classic The Grinch as their inspiration. There’s inspired cocktails and Whoville décor, guaranteed to turn any Grinch or Scrooge into a Cindy Lou or Tiny Tim! The adjoining venue Fox Trot has also had a magical transformation. An awesome two-for-one-evening!

3. Holidays on the Roof at Ponce City Market
This Christmas season, Ponce City Market have transforming their rooftop into a Winter Dreamland complete with igloos for outdoor dining and a Skate the Sky ice skating rink for their annual Holidays on the Roof event! Due to popular demand, this option is kid friendly during the day, making it the ultimate festive outing for the whole family!

The Blind Pig Parlour is one of Atlanta’s favorite speakeasies. The legendary bar annually gets an insane makeover for the holidays, and this year isn’t any different. With tinsel, dazzling lights, Christmas trinkets, and so much more. This Buckhead beauty needs to be seen to be believed! There’s even special drinks like the Kris Kringle, served up with bare bone vodka, Kahlua, Baileys, and candy cane syrup!

5. Sippin’ Santa at Bon Ton
Bon Ton Atlanta has become a magical winter wonderland! Their holiday pop-up bar has opened for some much needed festive fun! The crafty Creole hotspot where Louisiana meets Vietnam annually gets an OTT festive makeover. There’s awesome drinks specials with a festive twist, gorgeous decorations, and Bon Ton is one of our favorite seafood hotspots in the ATL.

As the self-proclaimed “worst kept secret” in Atlanta, The Third Door is a converted gas station that’s become a beloved speakeasy in Marietta. During the holidays, the space gets a magical makeover with an explosion of lights, festive décor, as well as crafty movie-themed cocktails!

7. North Pole Bar at Colony Square
Not only is there an awesome holiday pop-up bar on Colony Square, but there’s an enchanting ice skating rink and a luxe-food hall that opened earlier this year. Their pop-up has an igloo bar where ‘chilling with friends’ is taken to the next level. Make sure to check out this holiday speakeasy over the festive period, for a guaranteed evening of festive fun with festive cocktails provided by Establishment.

9. Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar
They are “Up to Snow Good” at Biltong Bar, which means they’re bringing back the beloved Blitzen Room this holiday season! The restaurant will feature swanky, vintage Christmas decor and seasonally themed cocktails including Chartreuse Hot Chocolate and Frozen Egg Nog. We’ll try both, please! 10. Santa’s Pub at Publico
Publico annually joins in on all the fun, recently opening up Santa’s Pub, a must-see winter wonderland decked out with OTT decorations and cozy igloos. Take in the stunning views of glistening Midtown Atlanta, complimenting the thousands of twinkling lights that’ve transformed the gastro pub into this fantastic festive experience.

11. Miracle Bar
Miracle Bar is back in Atlanta, and it’s not just merrier than ever, it’s brighter than ever before! If the kitschy holiday décor doesn’t get you into the spirit of the season, the professionally-developed cocktails definitely will! We suggest trying out Bad Santa to warm up those colder ATL evenings. Served hot in a novelty mug, with aged Jamaican rum, velvet falernum, mixed spice butter, oat milk, and nutmeg! 13. The Yard at Ponce City Market
It’s not just the Roof at Ponce City Market that’s hosting some festive fun over the holidays. Every weekend, The Yard at Ponce City Market becomes a cozy winter treat. Guests will be able to gather ‘round toasty fires and enjoy s’mores at our fireside pods. The Firepods accommodate small groups and can be booked by the hour. 14. Holiday Road at Bouckaert Farm
Although this is one of the many dazzling light shows in Atlanta for the holidays, there’s also a Holiday Bar at Holiday Road, which has completely transformed the Horse Mansion at Bouckaert Farm into a glittering Wonderland! Kick back and relax at the Holiday Bar, where the grown-ups get to enjoy a savory cocktail to jumpstart their holiday spirit, lush wine to help them unwind, or craft beer to keep up the holiday cheer.

15. Christkindl Market ATL
Transport yourselves to an authentic German market this Christmas! Buckhead Village is home to Atlanta’s Christkindl Market. Formerly at the Centennial Olympic Park and after a short hiatus due to the pandemic, the beloved festive favorite is back for the holiday season.
