2. Take your family to Georgia’s Strawberry Festival!
With tons of food vendors, events, arts and crafts, strawberries, and even a wiener-dog race, the Georgia Strawberry Festival is a definite can’t-miss experience! You’ll have so much fun enjoying the sweetest strawberries and everything else the festival has to offer!

From now until June 1st, Atlanta’s one-of-a-kind Ren Faire is back in town, and we’re STOKED for the revelry! Whether you’re in it for the delicious turkey legs, the fun rides, the shops or just dressing up in your fantasy Ren Faire fits, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the Renaissance Festival!

10. Go back in time 3.5 billion years at this epic VR experience
Step back 3.5 billion years at this incredible ‘Life Chronicles’ VR experience. This adventure was created by Excurio and the Natural History Museum in France, making your journey through time very realistic. You’ll head to the Archean era, witnessing the first traces of life, before venturing to the Cambrian period 520 million years ago to explore the incredibly diverse animal species. Our favorite part was coming face-to-face with dinosaurs and approaching the T. rex during the Cretaceous era, 67 million years ago. It was also fascinating to see the beginning of the human race between 100,000 and 60,000 years ago. Grab your tickets here!

Zoo Atlanta’s newest resident, Titan, is a 16-year-old adult male African Elephant! He just moved to the ATL from Wichita, Kansas, and he’s already settling in in the African Savanna exhibit at the zoo!
