What is a rail bike?
Blue Ridge’s rail bikes are a super cool way to explore the beauty of the mountains in a leisurely way. These motor-assisted rail bikes connect to a railroad (like a train) but let you do the pedaling!
With state-of-the-art seats and adjustable seat belts, the rail bikes are comfortable for everyone!
Oh, and you don’t have to be a pro-biker to enjoy. Because these bikes are motor-assisted, you can relax and pedal leisurely instead of fighting your way along the trail! Blue Ridge notes that riders should be able to bike recumbently for 70–90 minutes at low exertion to enjoy the experience. What is the rail bike excursion in Blue Ridge like?
