5 Essential Places To Enjoy Delicious Hot Chocolate In Atlanta
As things gradually get colder, nothing beats a hot chocolate! There’s no shortage of incredible coffeehouses and chocolatiers in Atlanta, so keep reading to discover your new favorite spot! From unique takes on the delicious drink, to the classic staple as it is. Stay warm this fall & winter, but most importantly, treat yourself!

1. ADios Cafe

Where: Castleberry Hill

ADios Cafe is one of our favorite breakfast spots with an extensive menu of breakfast and brunch staples. Their hot chocolates are the stand-out stars of the drinks menu, with two on offer. Try out their Chocolate Azteca for a spicy twist on a cold day favorite.

2. Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate

Where: Inman Park near Krog Street Tunnel

If you’re looking for the ultimate decadent treat, then you must check out Xocolatl! Their liquid chocolate is the perfect indulgent pick-me-up, but there’s so much more on offer! Including cold drinks and chocolate by the bar.

3. Hodgepodge Coffee

Where: Reynoldstown, Decatur, and Ormewood

Although beloved because of their delicious Pumpkin Spice Lattes, don’t sleep on Hodgepodge’s Hot Chocolate! Always served with an indulgent serving of whipped cream, treat yourself at this ATL coffeehouse gem!

4. ChocoLate Coffee

Where: Shallowford & Decatur

With two locations across the Metro area, ChocoLate Coffee is a force to be reckoned with. Their Hazelnut Hot Chocolate is to die for, but we suggest trying their White Chocolate Mocha if you need your caffeine fix, and fancy something sweet!

5. Cafe Intermezzo

Where: Midtown

There’s an impressive selection of drinks available at Intermezzo, and there’s three Georgian locations. If you’re ever in Midtown ATL, Dunwoody, or Alpharetta, make sure to check this coffeehouse out. We’re obsessed with their White Hot Chocolate, but the regular is just as good.
