Where: Central Atlanta
Of course, we couldn’t make a list of fitness trails without mentioning our beloved BeltLine. The loop of Atlanta is the perfect trail to have a 360-tour of our city in that gorgeous Georgia sunshine. However, be warned that it can get busy in certain areas on the BeltLine, so timing is everything.

Another obvious choice for many when deciding where to go for a cycle. This lengthy trail is uniquely special as you can turn your bike ride into an epic pilgrimage to Alabama. For a more unique experience, head to Big Creek Greenway to bike your way through the beautiful woods and greenery, of which there is no shortage of! An awesome bike ride to connect with nature, and it’s usually not as busy as most ATL hotspots.
4. Cochran Shoals Trail
This awesome flat trail along the Chattahoochee is perfect for hikers, runners, and bikers! With various routes to consider, every bike ride can be different at Cochran Shoals Trail. Although off-the-beaten-path, this spot can get busy on the weekends.
5. South Peachtree Creek Trail
This trail features a mile of boardwalk through a forest and over a wetland. We adore to take breaks in their tempting seating areas to observe the wildlife. The trail conveniently connects Medlock Park to Mason Mill Park and Emory University, making it such a picturesque spot for a bike ride.
