This summer block party has replaced the cherry blossom festival in Brookhaven
There aren’t any cherry blossoms at this years Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival! Mainly because it’s been changed to Cherry Blossom Summer Block Party – and we’re in for a treat!
Taking place on July 30th and 31st, the festival will return with the same music, fun, and entertainment it’s known for. According to the press release, the block party is a coming-out celebration, as we return to normal following the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
Headlining the festival are The Revivalists with many more artists performing, including Collective Soul, Rick Springfield, Better Than Ezra, and many more. The Kids Zone and food trucks will be returning to the festival, guaranteeing a fun day out for the whole family. However, the usual car show and art market weren’t mentioned in the press release.
It will take place in the Brookhaven MARTA Station parking lot and along Dresden Drive and Apple Valley Road. Attendees are encouraged to use MARTA to make their way to the festival, as there won’t be any parking available.
The festival will be taking place on July 30th and 31st. Friday the festival will take place from 3pm until 11pm, and on Saturday it’s noon until 11pm. The event is free of charge.
