Nothing beats breakfast in bed, and Atlanta boasts some of the best brunch spots in the country.
Weekends would be nothing without brunch. But now you don’t have to worry about booking the table on time. As a lot of places are offering takeout or drive-side pick up—from authentic Southern breakfasts, to global cuisines. Atlanta has it all, and breakfast is the most important meal of the day so why not enjoy it from your own home? Or dine-in if you’d like (following all the proper rules and regulations, of course).
1. Egg Harbor Café
Where: Midtown
Their vast brunch menu will make you want to order a feast. At Egg Harbor Café, it’s clear that they take their breakfast and brunch very seriously. The classic Eggs Benedict brunch dish is a go-to here, and it’d be incredibly rude not to get something sweet to go!
2. Atlanta Breakfast Club
Where: Downtown
Trying their ‘Chicken Biscuits with Black Pepper Gravy’ is a must. The modern diner with retro seating has one of the best brunches in town, with a welcoming staff and atmosphere to match. You won’t be disappointed leaving Atlanta Breakfast Club, nor any of our favorite Black-owned takeout spots in Atlanta for that matter!
3. Sun in my Belly
Where: Kirkwood
The ultimate gourmet take-out experience. Their French Toast and epic breakfast sandwiches light up the menu at Sun in my Belly. Shine from the inside-out, by starting your day right at this hotspot.
4. Broken Egg Café
Where: Peachtree
It’s always a great time eating the delicious food from Another Broken Egg Café. This chain has become an Atlanta staple for breakfast and brunch. It’s probably due to their incredible selection of cocktails, including Bloody Mary’s, and a Spiked Cold Brew to spice up any morning.
5. Oy!
Where: Cumberland Parkway
Mouth-watering burgers, scrumptious breakfast dishes. Oy! has the menu to spruce up any weekend. Order the pancakes and you’ll be back in no time for round two.
6. Marlow’s Tavern
Where: Midtown
Incredible dishes on an innovative menu, Marlow’s is famous for creating unique specials that you never knew you needed. A must-try dish? Their Shrimp & Crab Nachos!
7. Buttermilk Kitchen
Buttermilk chicken always tastes better at brunch. Head to Buttermilk Kitchen for delicious chicken and waffles. They also have a pantry with a wonderful selection of their inventive ingredients for you to use at home in your own cooking! Their Bloody Mary’s are also very, very special.
8. 10th & Piedmont
This menu features a breakfast burrito unlike any other. Featuring a global menu with a Southern twist, 10th & Piedmont’s breakfast burrito is a go-to. But beyond the burrito, the gravy and biscuits are great…and they even have delicious vegan alternatives on offer through their excellent plant-based menu! If you decide to dine-in, you can enjoy bottomless mimosas on the weekends, too. Don’t mind if we do!
