Lumier’s Chimney Cake just opened this spring in Atlanta, offering traditional Eastern European Chimney Cakes (Kürtőskalács), which are freshly baked to golden perfection with a crisp caramelized exterior and soft, fluffy interior.

What is a chimney cake?
Chimney cakes are traditional desserts from Eastern Europe, Hungary in particular, (with some reports stating that the first known recipes are from Transylvania).
What originally started as sweet dough wrapped around a wooden spit and slow roasted over an open flame has now become a modern dessert!
Now, Chimney Cakes can be filled with rich soft serve ice cream and customized with fresh fruits like strawberries, mango, or blueberries.
Top it off with delicious extras such as:
- crushed Oreos
- sprinkles
- nuts
- a drizzle of chocolate or caramel
And much more!
