For those who’ve visited London, or the United Kingdom, perhaps you remember a specific coffee shop chain that pops up everywhere within its cities and towns. Yes, it’s Costa Coffee, and they’ve finally made it state-side by opening their first US location, here in the ATL (pictured above: @forcemajeurestudios)! However, you may already recognize the brand, because Costa products can be spotted in stores and movie theatres across the country.
Established in London back in 1971, as Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno set up a roastery on the iconic Fenchurch Street. Just over 50 years later, and the first US location has opened in Midtown Atlanta at Coda Tech Square, a premier mixed-use development with office space, dining, and this brand new coffee shop.
In a statement on their social media, Coda Tech Square write, “We welcome Costa Coffee to @codatechsquare and the Midtown Community! Enjoy hot and cold beverages, delicious breakfast items and more!”
Costa writes on its website, “From our carefully roasted signature blend—chosen after the Costa brothers blind-tested 112 variations—to our iconic Flat White and many other options. We are proud of Costa’s premium coffee offering. After the first sip, you’ll see why Costa is the perfect cup, every time.”
So why not stop off next time you’re in Midtown ATL and try it our for yourself. However, there are so many incredible places to get your caffeine-fix in Atlanta. For a recent round-up of cute coffeehouses in and around the city, click here or the link below.
