Hold up… the Fayetteville Dwarf House is closing?
Yes. Bittersweet news for fans of the Fayetteville Dwarf House.
According to a social media post, the Fayetteville Dwarf House is closing its doors on November 6th, as they “prepare for what’s to come in 2027!”
The Dwarf House elaborates,
For years, the Fayetteville Dwarf House has been a place where familiar faces, good food, and cherished memories come together. We’re so grateful for the community that has made this place feel like home, and we can’t wait to share what’s next!
So, what’s coming next?

Of course, this begs the question: what’s coming next? Well, after they demolish the Fayetteville Dwarf House, Chick-fil-A will replace it with a new Truett’s Chick-fil-A, a restaurant dedicated to the life and legacy of Truett Cathy.
Right now, local reports indicate that the new Truett’s Chick-fil-A in Fayetteville will open sometime in the spring of 2027.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the demolition of the Fayetteville Dwarf House “leaves a handful of remaining Dwarf Houses, which are modeled after Cathy’s first-ever restaurant, called Dwarf Grill, that opened in 1946 in Hapeville.”
Remaining Dwarf House locations are:
- Forest Park Dwarf House | 4959 Jonesboro Rd, Forest Park, GA 30297
- Jonesboro Dwarf House | 7348 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236
- Riverdale Dwarf House | 6549 Highway 85, Riverdale, GA
We’re excited to see what the future holds for this new Truett’s Chick-fil-A in Fayetteville.
