What is Eid al-Fitr?

Eid al-Fitr translates to the ‘Festival of Breaking the Fast,’ and represents the end of the month-long celebration of Ramadan. To celebrate Eid al-Fitr, communities gather for festive meals, gift-giving and charity, as well as quality time together!
A fun aspect of Eid al-Fitr is also giving dollar bills to children! So if you’d like to participate, bring a batch of dollar bills to hand out to the kids at the festival!
What can festival goers expect at the Peachtree Corners Eid al-Fitr?
Along with great community and fun vibes, festival-goers can expect delicious food and coffee (for purchase)! Free and open to the public, this awesome event is a great reason to dress up, eat good food, and hang out with friends, both new and old!
