As Florida prepares for the extremely dangerous Hurricane Milton, which is expected to make landfall as a category 5 hurricane on late on Wednesday night, many Floridians are evacuating the area.
According to the National Hurricane Center and Central Pacific Hurricane Center,
Milton has been maintaining its strength as a catastrophic category 5 hurricane over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
As we monitor this storm and see more and more hurricane evacuees coming to Atlanta, we thought it might be nice to share a little Southern Hospitality with our friends from the south. So we asked local Atlanta businesses to let us know how they’re helping make this terrifying situation a little more comfortable for evacuees, and Atlantans came through.
