To celebrate 50 years, the Garden planted double the bulbs for an immersive spring bloom. One of the most show-stopping flower fields in the Atlanta area this spring is the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s expanded Atlanta SUPER Blooms. For its 50th anniversary, the Garden planted double the usual number of bulbs on the Great Lawn, with the dramatic display expected to peak in March and April. And if you can’t make it over right away, the Great Lawn Bloom cam streams daily from 8am – 6pm so you can check progress remotely.

Experience over 350,000 cherry trees blooming during Macon’s International Cherry Blossom Festival! If you’re up for a springtime day trip from Atlanta, head to Macon, Georgia—every March the city bursts into bloom with more than 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees. Along with the blossoms, the International Cherry Blossom Festival brings plenty to do, including family events, a Cherry Blossom Trail, pageants, lantern tours, races, and more. The next festival runs March 20–29, 2026 across multiple locations in Macon.

Enjoy a beautiful tulip festival just outside of the ATL! This beautiful Tulip Festival features plenty of U-pick tulip opportunities, artisan vendors, food trucks, and an engaging kids’ STEAM zone! And so much more.

See 20 million daffodils at Gibbs Gardens this spring! For one of the most spectacular spring flower fields in & around Atlanta, head to Gibbs Gardens in Ball Ground, GA—home to the largest daffodil display in the United States. You’ll find roughly 20 million daffodils spread across 50 acres, with the daffodil season typically running from early March through mid-April. Tickets are required for admission.

Take a trip to Callaway Gardens and enjoy the largest azalea gardens in the entire world! Wander through 40 acres and 700+ varieties of azaleas, all while enjoying the spring breeze!
