The Fourth of July is right around the corner, and here in the ATL, we’ve got tons of ways to celebrate our country’s independence from England.

This Fourth of July, the Atlanta Braves are celebrating 250 years of America with a HUGE block party & fireworks show! You definitely don’t want to miss out on all the fun.
Here are some of the fun things you can expect:
- Braves Block Party: Before the game, fans can enjoy live entertainment and activations in The Battery Atlanta, including a motorcycle stunt show performance.
- On-Field Presentations: Sons of the American Revolution cannon display, militia representation, battalion flags, a giant America 250 flag display, and National Anthem performance by The City Springs Theatre Company.
- C-130 Aircraft Flyover from Dobbins Air Reserve Base immediately following National Anthem.
- Mega July 4th Fireworks Show: After the game, fans can celebrate 250 years of America with the largest fireworks show Truist Park has ever seen!
On top of all the fun celebrations, fans can also expect special exclusive Americana merch to show off their USA and Braves pride with limited-edition patriotic merchandise available at the Braves Clubhouse Store.
There will also be an America 250 All-Star Gallery Wall, where fans can visit Monument Garden to view a special gallery wall featuring Braves All-Star contenders Matt Olson, Ronald Acuña Jr., Drake Baldwin, Ozzie Albies, and Michael Harris II dressed in their Americana-best, tying together America’s 250th birthday with this year’s Midsummer Classic in Philadelphia.
AND! Don’t miss the Independence Week Eating Competition: From July 2-4, fans will have the chance to compete in three separate eating competitions: Krystal burgers, watermelon, and apple pie. YUM!

No Fourth of July event list would be complete without a hotdog eating contest! If you’re looking for a place to watch competitors throw back hotdogs… look no further! Red’s Beer Garden is hosting their annual Hot Dog Eating Contest!
Cheer on the participating dog-champions, all while enjoying the unbeatable selection of brews and beers on offer at Red’s Beer Garden. It’s free to watch!

America’s 250th birthday is just around the corner, andAtlantans and visitors in town for the World Cup alike are looking for fun ways to celebrate the holiday.
Search no more! Head to Lenox Square for their second annual Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo, which welcomes tens of thousands of visitors ahead of the world’s largest 10K, the Peachtree Road Race!
AND kick off the holiday weekend on the evening of July 3rd, the iconic center will host a free performance by Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-DMC at 8:30 p.m., immediately followed by a dazzling fireworks show!
You can check out the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo in climate-controlled tents in the Macy’s parking lot at Lenox Square from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 2nd and 3rd!
