Wait… a seed library? What’s that?
Cobb County Public Library’s Seed Library is a system-wide, community-based initiative designed to promote local gardening, sustainable food practices, and biodiversity preservation by enabling people to get seeds designed to grow in the region.
You can find seeds for everything from fruits and vegetables to herbs to flowers.

How many seed packets can I get?
You can actually take up to 3 packets per day for use in your home garden and landscape. And there’s no catch to it! Just enjoy your seeds!
You can get these seeds from now through June 4, 2026, while seed packet supplies last.
