Strap in for a wild ride!
The Georgia National Fair is coming back to town, and it’s going to be better than ever before this year!
If the start of fall has you craving funnel cake and turkey legs (or maybe a more Georgia-specific treat, like a muscadine slushie), it’s your time to shine! The Georgia National Fair will open back up this year on Thursday, October 5th, with the gates officially opening at 3pm!
What’s in store for fair-goers?
The Georgia National Fair has tons to offer attendees this year. Of course, visitors can expect all of the classic fair rides, like heart-stopping roller coasters, high-flying swings, and the dizzying scrambler. After you take a couple rounds on the carousel and a twirl or two in the teacups, make sure to see all of the dazzling lights and colors of the fair from a bird’s eye view atop the dreamy Georgia National Fair ferris wheel.
The Georgia National Fair is also well-known for its local artist exhibitions and displays and rockin’ concerts that are fun for the whole family. To see the whole lineup, check out their page here.
And don’t forget to check out all the adorable barnyard animals too! There will be precious baby piglets, cute little cows, fluffy bunnies, graceful horses and even some less common animal friends to see and pet. Stick around for the horse and llama shows, too, where there will even be a miniature horse demonstration!
The fair is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a day of delicious food, fun rides, and time with your friends and family. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience. Find out more information about the Georgia National Fair on their website!
