The Georgia Renaissance Festival is a massive celebration of fun and revelry for all! With tons of amazing things to do and see, as well as delicious food… it’s a time of pure merriment! So don your best festival fit (whether that’s in full Renaissance attire, a fairy costume, or anything that you want to wear!), and head on over to ye olde festival for the time of your life!
What is there to do at the Georgia Renaissance Festival?

What ISN’T there to do? All ye who wish, will have the time of your lives! Here are just some of the many things the Georgia Ren Faire offers:
- over 150 artisans, craftsmen, clothiers, armorers and purveyors of fine food and drink
- live artist demonstrations including: hand spinners, historical glassworkers, the reptile society, village pottery, hair braiding… and so much more!
- entertainment like face painting, geode cracking, sword challenges, hookah, a tomato toss, and more
- A dungeon museum highlighting historical recreations of dungeons from the dark ages
- kids areas and crafts
- games and rides for all, from tests of strength to camel rides to archery and beyond
And possibly the most famous event of the entire festival: the Joust! The festival says, “You’ll be on the edge of your seat as noble knights in shining armor battle and compete with lance, sword, and chariot! This epic show is filled with thrilling stunts, trick riding, and over twelve tons of equine fury!”
