On the Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes, you’ll get to explore some true Atlanta gems, including:
- 787 Grant, which was once a corner grocery in the early 1900s. The exact build date is a mystery, but is estimated between 1900 and 1910. Throughout the early 1980’s it operated as Ray’s Grocery. Now, the space has been transformed into a creative studio below with an apartment above by Rebecca and her husband Jiva, who moved into the house next door.
- 585 Boulevard, is a Folk Victorian home built in 1904. This home is unique because its design includes a main home AND attached storefront that once served as the Georgia Milk Producers/Miss Georgia Dairies ice cream store and a site for dairy farmers to drop off milk.
- 381 Cherokee, in 2015, this home was featured in a scene in Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, directed by Ang Lee.
And there are so many amazing homes to explore on the tour! Don’t miss out.
