One of Atlanta’s favorite LGBTQI+ owned restaurants is expanding in a major way.
Guac Y Margys has confirmed on their Instagram that the margarita hotspot is expanding, and the new location means business. Their new, larger location will be located at Amsterdam Walk!
In the official statement, they confirmed the venue “is right next to Piedmont Park and the Beltline, features beautiful brick walls, has a covered patio and a ton of history.”
The history mentioned relates to the new location being co-owner David’s second gay establishment he ever went to. Guac Y Margys is one of Atlanta’s favorite queer owned restaurants, and with a lot of businesses closing their doors, especially ones that are LGBTQI+ owned, it’s great to see an ATL favorite expand and grow.

Whenever you check out Guac Y Margys, whether it’s at their new location or at the OG outpost near Krog Street Market, you have to get a couple tacos. We suggest trying their taco trio for a real treat. But whatever you do, don’t leave without trying one of their margaritas. Our favorites are ATL Sunset and Strawberry… Pineapple… Holla! All margaritas are available to purchase in single, double, or pitcher form!
We’ll make sure to keep you posted on Guac Y Margys’ new location, but for the meantime, why don’t you check out their other ATL location to get a taste of what’s to come.
You can find Guac Y Margys at 661 Auburn Ave NE #120, Atlanta, GA 30312, United States.
