Meet and support local artists at this holiday market taking over the High!
If you’re searching for a unique gift to give this holiday season, then head to the High Museum of Art over Thanksgiving weekend! There’s an unmissable Holiday Artisan Market taking over the gallery, with plenty of opportunities to treat yourself, or loved ones for the holidays.
Meet local artisans and shop for handmade gifts including jewelry, textiles, home goods, accessories, and more! You’re guaranteed to tick a couple people off your gift list, so make sure you don’t miss out!
Thirteen incredible local artists and artisans will be displaying their hard work for purchase. Manifestwax is a small, Black woman–owned brand created with the intent to inspire, educate, and elevate through manifestation candles and intention-based workshops.
Ceramicist Ashley Benton will also be present, who has been exhibiting her work for more than twenty years across the country and beyond. Their quirky and gorgeous ceramics will feel right at home at the High Museum of Art. To find out more about all the artisans, click here.
In other High news, an exciting exhibition that’s been in the works for 25 years has finally made its debut at the HIGH Museum of Art. Picturing the South first started in 1996, when the HIGH started commissioning photographers from across the world, to use the South as their canvas. They encouraged engagement with and exploration of the American South’s rich social and geographic landscape.
The Holiday Artisan Market at the High Museum of Art will be taking place on Thanksgiving weekend, on Friday November 26 & Saturday November 27 from 11am until 4pm. Admission to the Holiday Artisan Market is free. Admission to the Museum is not included.
